Welcome to MyDietitian. I’m Sophie, a Registered Dietitian dedicated to supporting patients in collaboration with the North West Sleep Clinic. Originally from Letterkenny, I’m especially pleased to be able to support people across Donegal and the North West.

My focus is on practical, evidence-based nutrition that encourages lasting health changes. Together, we’ll develop realistic dietary adjustments that fit your lifestyle while moving away from temporary fixes and restrictive approaches, and towards sustainable, long-term wellbeing.

Sleep and Nutrition

Sleep and nutrition are closely connected, influencing each other in significant ways. A well-balanced diet can promote restful sleep, while poor nutrition lead to sleep disturbances. Certain foods and nutrients, such magnesium and tryptophan, can enhance sleep quality help the body relax. Understanding this link allows us to make healthier that support both our nutritional needs and our sleep health.
